The new Israeli energy minister (and former finance minister)
Dr Tuval Steinitz told The Bosphorus Energy Club chairman Mehmet Ogutcu that, despite current political difficulties, he still believes Israel and Turkey can work on gas development and exports from Leviathan and beyond.

Ogutcu shared his perspectives on excessive regulations, red tape and public anger in Israel that deter potential investors as well as reduced international demand for gas and strong competitors to Israeli gas.

Minister Steinitz has expressed interest in coming to The Bosphorus Energy Club meeting in 9-10 December 2015 in Istanbul for informal discussions with investors and his Turkish peers.
